Introducing "Tales From The West – Western Scores" - a journey into the sound of old western movies, capturing the mood and emotion of classic scenes, tense standoffs, sad goodbyes, dusty roads, slow walks, and moments that feel like something’s about to go down. Inspired by spaghetti westerns, the music of Ennio Morricone, and the storytelling style of Tarantino, this pack delivers a raw, cinematic feel that pulls straight from the 1960s and ‘70s.

This collection includes 10 original compositions, each one built to tell a story. From dark and dramatic to calm, slow, dangerous, and emotional, they were created using a wide range of vintage gear: 1976 Wurlitzer, ’70s P-Bass, nylon and acoustic guitars, Greco hollowbody electric, vintage Korg organ, 1970s Wurlitzer upright piano, ’70s drum sets, ’50s Zildjian cymbals, ’60s drum skins, and more. Everything was recorded through a 1976 Pioneer RT-1011L reel-to-reel tape machine and Tascam PortaOne preamps to lock in that rich analog tone.

Also included are 120 bonus drum sounds—kicks, snares, hats, toms, cymbals, and percussive hits—all recorded using the same vintage instruments and mics, and processed through the same analog gear. These drums have that warm, dusty, and slightly gritty character that matches the energy of the compositions perfectly.
