What am I able to do with these samples?

All audio materials are provided free of clearance requirements solely for use within independently released musical works. Licensees may commercially distribute such works and retain all resulting revenues.

When do I need to clear a sample with the creator?

Drum loop samples and all one-shot samples in this pack are royalty-free. Clearance is only required for compositions on major label releases or large independent releases where streams have surpassed 5 million. You will be required to split the producer royalties and publishing with the creator of the sample, along with co-production credit and a producer fee, which is the responsibility of the releasing label.

What splits can I expect on a major label clearance?

The sample creator will be due:

• 10% publisher’s share and 1% producer royalty for samples used ≤ 10 seconds.
• 15% publisher’s share and 1.5% producer royalty for samples used between 10–30 seconds.
• 25% publisher’s share and 3% producer royalty for samples used over 30 seconds.

The essentials

All samples and compositions in this pack are licensed for use within your own productions. The original master recordings remain the property of Tamuz Samples. You are granted a non-exclusive license to use and distribute works that include these samples. You may not resell, sublicense, or distribute the original samples, whether modified or unmodified, as standalone audio files or within another sample library.
