Brush Pack is a focused collection built entirely around the sound and feel of real brush drums. Traditionally tied to jazz, brushes are pushed here into a new space, designed for modern production across hip hop, soul, R&B, funk, and beyond.

Everything was recorded using a vintage 70s made in Japan drum kit alongside a modern Ludwig kit, with a rotation of classic Slingerland, Ludwig, and Pearl snare drums. The cymbal selection includes 50s Zildjian A hats and rare vintage Italian hats, capturing a soft but detailed top end. All sounds were tracked through a tape machine and vintage microphones, with a deliberate approach of playing quietly so the tone of the drums, mics, and preamps can fully come through.

The result is a textured, intimate drum sound that sits differently than traditional sticks. Less attack, more movement, more tone.
